THE exact time and location snow will fall TODAY has been revealed – but a brighter outlook is on the horizon.
Met Office forecasters predict flurries over parts of the UK later as many woke up to frost and mist this morning.

But, it is not until an hour later that a bit more of the white stuff will start falling around Dalwhinnie and Pitlochry.
It will then continue to fall until just after midnight.
For most Brits, there has been a chilly and bright start to the day, with more sunshine to come.
A combination of northerly winds pushing down and a ridge of high pressure meant clear skies for many this morning but a biting breeze for some.
Met Office meteorologist Alex Burkill said: “It’s going to be largely fine for a time, clinging on to some decent sunshine across northern and eastern parts.”
However the weather is set to turn cloudy and wet throughout the afternoon in southern and western areas.
A heavier band of rain is set to move across Northern Ireland and bring “more intense outbreaks” over far western parts of Scotland, England and Wales.
Temperature wise, despite a frosty morning, figures are set to climb throughout the day.
The mercury is predicted to reach as highs of 14C on the south coast this evening.
On Sunday, areas in the south east could see more rain in the morning, but this will clear towards the east as the day goes on.
The majority of the UK is set to remain largely dry with sunny spells.
Figures are also expected to reach highs of 16C or 17C in the south.
Going into next week, more rain is set to arrive from the west and temperature are due to be “changeable”.
