THIS is the shocking moment a gang of luxury car thieves smashed a Bentley through a gated driveway in a £4million high-tech heist.
The group hit several homes across the southeast of England and made off with premium models from Range Rovers to Rolls Royces.
CCTV footage shows one man holding his ‘master device’ from outside the house.
He then goes over to the Bentley and opens the door using a second gadget.
After breaking into the luxury motor, the thief reverses and smashes through two sets of gates on the property.
The Sun Online contacted Bentley for comment.
Perry Lovejoy, 29, Luke Jackson, 28, Billy Harrison, 30, and Harry Sales, 28, used a device to copy signals from the keyless car in their well-practised routine.
It comes as they shamelessly stole a fleet of 53 high-end vehicles, worth over £3.7million.
Jackson had also sped away with 42 cars, valued more than £2.1million in separate thefts.
The string of thefts were carried out across one year before they were cuffed by officers in April 2023.
Surrey Police’s Serious and Organised Crime Unit poured through hours worth of CCTV, number plate recognition data, witness statements and forensics to apprehend the gang.
Detective found the men using a ‘rely attack’ method which targeted keyless cars.
The plan involves using a ‘master device’ to copy the signal of a vehicle’s key and transmitting it to a second smaller device, which replicates the key and unlocks the car.
Investigating Officer Detective Constable Matt Earl said: “This was a large-scale investigation that was made possible by the hard work and dedication of the Serious and Organised Crime Unit, as well as the support and collaboration of other neighbouring police forces.
“The level of criminality that these four people undertook was significant and had a huge financial impact.
“These men acted out of pure greed and had no regard for how their crimes may affect the lives of their victims.
“We are glad that these criminals have been successfully brought to justice and will now have lots of time to think about their actions whilst sitting in prison.”
Jackson, from Croydon in southeast London, was put behind bars for three-and-a-half years.
Perry Lovejoy, of Horley in Surrey, was sentenced to three years in prison and handed a nine-month consecutive sentence for admitting being concerned in the supply of cannabis.
Harrison, of Coulsdon in South London, and Sales, of Croydon, were both sentenced to three years each.
