A SEVEN-year-old boy who disappeared after “wandering off from his mum” in an Asda supermarket has been found safe and well.
Jay went missing from the Asda in Taunton, Somerset, on Sunday evening and sparked a police appeal for information.
He was wearing a red and blue Newcastle football shirt, as pictured above, with black shorts and green trainers.
But Avon and Somerset Police confirmed the schoolboy has now been found safe and well.
A spokesperson said: “We are pleased to confirm seven-year-old Jay has been found safe and well.
“Thank you for everyone who shared our appeal and supported our enquiries.”
