A BUS and a car crashed outside Windsor Castle as cops raced to the chaotic scene.
Horrified onlookers witnessed the smash in Berkshire yesterday morning, which saw a car battered and a blue bus left precariously balanced on two wheels.
A silver Mercedes was left crumpled against the side of the bus, and appeared to break the side panelling.
Emergency services rushed to the frantic scene and a police presence was in the area.
Traffic built up nearby with drivers sitting in bumper-to-bumper congestion amid rush hour.
It is understood there were no serious injuries in the collision.
An investigation is now underway to determine the cause of the crash.
Drivers have been advised to check their routes before travelling near Windsor Castle.
