COPS have launched a probe after a man and woman in their 70s were found dead inside a house.
Staffordshire Police responded to calls from the property, on Catalina Place, Meir Park, in Stoke-on-Trent, at 1pm.

The force have now launched an investigation, but are “confident there is no wider threat” to the community.
A spokesperson from Staffordshire Police said: ”We were called at 1pm this afternoon to report that the bodies of a man and a woman had been found at a house.
“An investigation is being carried out to establish the circumstances of the incident.
“At this stage, we are confident there is no wider threat or risk to the community.
“Their family are being supported by specialist officers.”
